# Connect an AI assistant to Epiphan Cloud using MCP

Epiphan Cloud exposes an **MCP (Model Context Protocol)** endpoint. Connect a supported AI assistant and you can ask about your devices in plain language instead of clicking through the dashboard. Epiphan MCP is reached through a supported AI assistant rather than by direct programmatic calls.

**Examples**

- "List all devices in my team and flag anything offline."
- "Is Pearl-2 in Studio B recording right now?"
- "Show me storage free space across every device."
- "What's scheduled to record tomorrow?"

**Server URLs**

| Region | URL |
|---|---|
| North America | `https://go.epiphan.cloud/mcp` |
| Europe | `https://eu.epiphan.cloud/mcp` |
| Australia | `https://au.epiphan.cloud/mcp` |

Initial authentication happens in your browser using OAuth, the same as logging into Epiphan Cloud. During authentication you choose **which team** to grant access to. The assistant sees only what your account can already see in that team.

In theory, any application or CLI that supports OAuth should be compatible with Epiphan MCP. Only Claude and GPT are tested. Grok and Microsoft Copilot are not currently supported. This may be expanded later. Gemini does not support MCP connectors in the web interface or the app, and does not support them in the CLI for individual accounts. Enterprise Gemini CLI MCP connectors have not been tested.
