# Epiphan Cloud and Epiphan Edge Information

Epiphan Edge, a service under the Epiphan Cloud umbrella, is a cloud-based remote fleet management and monitoring platform where team members can operate and manage Pearl devices and EC20 cameras from one convenient interface and from anywhere in the world, allowing users to access their Pearl devices 24/7 and be confident that everything is under control.

Epiphan Edge also supports the EC20 PTZ camera. A paired EC20 appears in Epiphan Edge alongside your Pearl devices, where you can monitor its health, update its firmware, remotely access its web interface (with an Epiphan Edge Premium plan), rename it, and unpair or delete it. Channel recording and streaming, the Switcher, custom layouts, configuration presets, Epiphan Live, and event scheduling apply to Pearl devices only and are not available for the EC20. AI tools can call Epiphan MCP for monitoring of paired Edge devices directly from their respective interfaces.

There are two variants of Epiphan Edge: “Epiphan Edge Free” and “Epiphan Edge Premium”

- Pairing is limited by the number of premium Pearl and EC20 devices authorized for a team

- Epiphan MCP Read/Write Usage

**About the interface**

Epiphan Edge provides remote device management and control for your Pearl devices. The cloud-based platform can be accessed using your favorite web browser from a computer, tablet, or mobile device from just about anywhere there's an Internet connection.

**Main navigation panel**

Hovering over an icon in the side navigation panel reveals its label. Just click the icon to select it. To expand the panel, resize your web-browser window.
