# EC20 with Epiphan Edge

The EC20 can be added to Epiphan Edge and managed alongside Pearl devices. You can monitor system health, update firmware, and remotely access the web interface from any browser, without touching the rack. You will need an Epiphan Cloud account, if you don't have an Epiphan Cloud account you can create one for free at [https://eu.epiphan.cloud/](https://eu.epiphan.cloud/), [https://go.epiphan.cloud/](https://go.epiphan.cloud/), or [https://au.epiphan.cloud/](https://au.epiphan.cloud/). Once you have an account you can then pair the EC20 with your Epiphan Edge team.

The EC20 PTZ camera requires firmware 3.4.40 or higher to pair with Epiphan Edge on all three regional servers (go.epiphan.cloud, eu.epiphan.cloud, and au.epiphan.cloud).

Certain features, such as remote access, require the premium version of Epiphan Edge.

When the EC20 is registered with Epiphan Edge, the camera reports live audio activity levels to Epiphan Edge. This makes it easy to verify that the camera is receiving audio input without being in the room or opening the camera's own web interface.

To pair the EC20 with Epiphan Edge:

- Log in to the EC20 web interface.

- In the left-hand navigation menu, select **Epiphan Edge**.

- Ensure that Epiphan Edge is **Enabled** and the EC20 is connected to the Internet.

- Select your Epiphan Edge **Region**, then click **Apply.**

- If you are already logged into your Epiphan Cloud account and have the correct team selected in the upper left, click **Pair Device** to complete the pairing.

- If not, copy the pairing code, log in to your Epiphan Cloud account, select the desired team in the upper left, click **Pair Device**, and enter the code to pair the EC20.
