# Adjust the fan speed

You can adjust the internal fan speed using the Admin panel. The fan speed is set to reduced by default and the fan will adjust speed based on system temperatures. If you see temperatures around 75C or higher, you can choose Maximum to increase static thermal headroom.

**Adjust the fan speed using the Admin panel**

- Log in to the Admin panel as **admin**.

- From the Configuration menu, click **Maintenance **. The maintenance page opens.

- Under **Fan speed setting**, select either **Maximum speed** or **Reduced speed** and click **Apply**.
