Connect an AV.io video grabber
Applies to: Pearl-2, Pearl Mini, Pearl Nexus
You can connect an Epiphan AV.io frame grabber to a USB input port just the same as you would connect a web camera.
The device treats the video source from the frame grabber just like any other video source.
Use AV.io frame grabbers to connect extra HDMI, DVI, or SDI sources.
You can set up and operate frame grabbers using the same steps as Configure a video input source.

Device differences
- Pearl-2 only: "Using AV.io HD, you can add up to two VGA sources to Pearl-2." Pearl-2 also supports AV.io 4K: https://www.epiphan.com/userguides/avio-4k/Content/Home-AVio4K.htm
- Pearl Nano: does not apply โ Pearl Nano's rear USB port supports UAC (audio) devices only; it does not support UVC webcams or frame grabbers presenting as USB video devices.
