# Firmware update sources

*Applies to: Pearl-2, Pearl Mini, Pearl Nano, Pearl Nexus.*

Firmware for Pearl devices can be obtained from three sources: the Pearl Admin panel, Epiphan Edge, or manually from the Epiphan website.

**Epiphan Edge** — only registered devices can download firmware through Epiphan Edge. If a device has been registered but is not updating, the device may not have checked the Epiphan support servers yet; the device checks approximately every 24 hours. To update sooner, log in to the Admin panel and click **Check for updates** on the Firmware Upgrade page.

**Epiphan website (offline and air-gapped networks)** — for Pearl devices on air-gapped networks that cannot reach the Epiphan support servers, offline firmware files are available from the product pages at [epiphan.com/support](https://www.epiphan.com/support). Choose the product of interest to download the firmware.
