# Live Switcher button is greyed out

*Applies to: Pearl-2, Pearl Mini, Pearl Nexus. Does not apply to Pearl Nano.*

If the **Live Switcher** button in the Admin panel is greyed out, the channel has only one layout. Live switching moves between layouts, so at least two layouts must exist in the channel before switching can be enabled. Add a second layout to the channel and the Live Switcher button becomes available.

**Pearl Nano does not support live switching.** Pearl Nano supports a single channel with a single layout, so there is no second layout to switch to and the Live Switcher button is not available on Pearl Nano under any configuration.
