Securing the built-in screen on Pearl devices

Applies to: Pearl-2, Pearl Mini, Pearl Nano.

Pearl devices with a built-in screen support several controls, usable independently or combined, to restrict access to it: requiring a PIN to unlock the screen, restricting which functions (recording/streaming/layout control, channel previews, system status) are accessible from it, setting an automatic timeout, and disabling the display entirely. Device differences

• Pearl Nexus: Pearl Nexus is headless and has no built-in screen; these controls do not apply.
