# Select Dante network interface

*Applies to: Pearl-2, Pearl Mini, Pearl Nexus*

When ingesting Dante audio inputs, the Pearl device can use either the built-in Ethernet port or a USB to Ethernet adapter. To use a USB to Ethernet adapter, first enable it; see "Enable USB to Ethernet interface." Dante audio requires firmware 4.24.6 or newer and the Dante audio feature add-on; see "Dante audio on Pearl devices."

**Select the network interface to use with Dante using the Admin panel**

1. Log in to the Admin panel as admin.
2. From the Configuration menu, select Network. The Network configuration page opens.
3. Click the Dante network tab.
4. Click the Network interface dropdown and select Built-in Ethernet or USB Ethernet.
5. Click Save.

**Device differences**

- **Pearl Nano:** Pearl Nano does not support Dante audio, so this procedure does not apply to Pearl Nano.
