What a Default Configuration reset changes

Applies to: Pearl-2, Pearl Mini, Pearl Nano, Pearl Nexus.

All Pearl devices support configuration presets, including the Default Configuration preset.

Applying the Default Configuration preset resets the Pearl device password, and it also resets all other device settings. Recordings and existing configuration presets are left unchanged by the Default Configuration preset.

Because applying the Default Configuration preset resets all other settings, be aware of the potential for lost configuration before applying it.

If a PIN is set on the device screen, the PIN must be entered before the Default Configuration preset can be applied from the screen. Pearl Nexus is headless and has no screen or PIN — apply the Default Configuration preset on Pearl Nexus using the reset pin hole on the front of the device.
