Where Pearl devices store recordings

Pearl devices always record to internal storage first. Completed recordings can then be transferred to USB storage or to network storage.

Recording directly to USB storage is not supported, and recording directly to network storage is not supported. Recording to internal storage first is for reliability and redundancy.

Automatic File Upload (AFU) can be configured to transfer completed recordings off the device automatically, and recordings can also be downloaded manually from the Admin panel.
