# Power down and system restart

You can do the following to power off Pearl Mini or reboot the device:

-  Choose **Reboot** or **Shutdown Now** from the Maintenance page using the Admin panel.

-  Power off the device using the power button.

**Reboot the device using the Admin panel**

- Log in to the Admin panel as **admin**.

- From the Configuration menu, click **Maintenance**. The maintenance page opens.

- Under the **Maintenance** section, select **Reboot Now** and click **OK** when prompted.

**Power off the device using the Admin panel**

You can use the Admin panel to power off Pearl Mini. The power button on Pearl Mini is a toggle switch. If you power off the device using the Admin panel, the power switch remains in the on state. To power back on, you must double press the power button.

- Log in to the Admin panel as **admin**.

- From the Configuration menu, select **Maintenance**. The maintenance page opens.

- Under the **Maintenance** section, select **Shutdown Now** and click **OK** when prompted.

**Power off the device using the power button**

You can manually shut down Pearl Mini using the power button.

The power button for the Pearl Mini is located on the rear panel beside the power input jack.
