# Epiphan Video — Warranty, Returns (RMA), and Support Plans

All Epiphan products are covered by a 100% repair-or-replacement limited warranty for 12 months from the date of shipment. Pearl Nexus is the exception: it comes standard with a 36-month warranty for units purchased on or after March 1, 2026. The EC20 carries the standard 12-month warranty. A 12-month warranty can be extended by two years with the purchase of a support plan. The complete legal warranty terms and conditions are found in section 8 of Epiphan's Terms and Conditions of Quotation or Sale agreement (https://www.epiphan.com/terms-conditions-quotation-sale/). A support plan does not extend the 36-month Pearl Nexus warranty, which stays at three years. For Pearl Nexus, a support plan adds the plan's other benefits instead (see "Extended support plans: SupportPlan and SupportPlan+"). A Pearl Nexus purchased before March 1, 2026 has the standard 12-month warranty, which a support plan extends by two years like any other product.

The standard warranty is part of Epiphan's standard support plan, included free with every product purchase. The standard plan includes one year of telephone support, a limited warranty covering repair or replacement (three years for Pearl Nexus purchased on or after March 1, 2026), and free firmware upgrades for the lifetime of the product.
