# Pearl firmware 4.23.1 and 4.23.0 — all Pearl systems

**Release 4.23.1**

- Configurable colors for a multicolored, USB-connected on-air status LED indicator.
- Pause and resume recordings with Panopto, Opencast, or YuJa using a programmable Delcom USB button.
- Resolved an LDAP issue where backslashes, double quotes, and hash symbols in user credentials were not properly escaped.

**Release 4.23.0**

- Added support for the Opencast content management system.
- Ad hoc and unscheduled Panopto events upload recordings into the device's default folder.
- If a reboot occurs during a Panopto event, the recording continues and still uploads to Panopto at the scheduled end time, with no manual input.
- Added support for exFAT formatted USB drives for Automatic File Upload and USB file transfers.
