# Pearl firmware 4.24.0 — all Pearl systems, with device differences

*Applies to: Pearl-2, Pearl Mini, Pearl Nexus, Pearl Nano — with the dual Ethernet feature excluded on Pearl Nano.*

- **Second Ethernet port** by connecting a USB-to-Ethernet adapter to a USB port, enabling separation of control and AV traffic. Pearl-2, Pearl Mini, and Pearl Nexus only; this feature is not available on Pearl Nano.
- **Automatic File Upload to Epiphan Edge** — when enabled, Pearl automatically uploads recorded files to Epiphan Edge for backup.
- **Event start confirmation** — an optional setting requiring confirmation before a scheduled Panopto or Opencast event can start. If the setting is active and the event is not confirmed, the event does not commence as scheduled.
- Resolved an issue preventing a Kuando Busylight connected to a Pearl-2 from displaying yellow.
- Resolved an issue preventing Pearl-2 from receiving a multicast RTSP stream from Q-SYS PTZ cameras.
- **Pearl Nano only:** fixed an H.265 range expansion issue.
