# Pearl firmware 4.24.2 — all Pearl systems, with device differences

- **Opencast scheduled live webcast support** — Pearl capture agents support scheduled live webcasts via Opencast, so a Pearl system can automatically start streaming to one or more predefined destinations.
- **NDI|HX interoperability fixes** — resolved compatibility issues between Pearl devices and certain NDI|HX cameras, such as the Sony SRG-A40. Pearl-2, Pearl Mini, and Pearl Nexus only.
- **This release removes support for NDI|HX1.** Pearl-2, Pearl Mini, and Pearl Nexus.
- Refreshed built-in CA certificates used to secure communication between Pearl systems and external services.
- **Dual Ethernet NDI discovery** — NDI sources can be discovered over USB-to-Ethernet adapters. Pearl-2, Pearl Mini, and Pearl Nexus.
- Audio codec validation in the web interface to help prevent configuration errors.
- **Pearl-2 only:** fan control interface updated, removing a misleading warning and simplifying settings to Auto and Maximum.
- Fixed layout editor element reordering, and duplicated multicast RTSP streams from Q-SYS cameras.
- **Pearl Nano only:** new configuration option to minimize high bitrate variability for improved RTMP stability, and a fix for the MTU value set in the web interface not being applied.
