# Pearl firmware 4.24.5 — Pearl-2, Pearl Mini, Pearl Nexus

- **Echo360 integration** — added native support for Echo360, allowing Pearl encoders to integrate directly into existing EchoVideo lecture capture workflows without requiring middleware, custom scripting, or workarounds. EchoVideo customers can now use the same reliable, flexible, and easy-to-deploy lecture capture experience that Pearl has long provided.

**Pearl Nano does not receive firmware 4.24.5.** Pearl Nano does not support application containers, and the Echo360 application required for the EchoVideo integration cannot be installed on it. Pearl Nano remains on the 4.24.4 release line until firmware 4.24.6 (see below). To use the EchoVideo (Echo360) integration, use a Pearl-2, Pearl Mini, or Pearl Nexus.

Firmware 4.24.5 or newer is required for the EchoVideo (Echo360) CMS integration.
