# Epiphan Unify Information

Epiphan Unify is a cloud based encoder in the Cloud that lets you remotely record, switch, mix, and stream video up to 4K using SRT and Web graphics inputs as your sources, enabling you to create captivating on-demand content and produce frictionless multisite hybrid experiences in the cloud.

**Streaming**

Stream to Content Distribution Networks (CDNs) worldwide using modern protocols like SRT and HLS. At the same time, you can stream to other destinations using RTMP.

**Recordings**

Download recordings using your web browser, or automatically upload recorded files directly to a network server using the following protocols:

- FTP

- RSync

- CIFS

- SCP

- SFTP

- AWS S3

- WebDav
